In a report by Chinese Global Times, North Korean military exercise commanded by DPRK Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un in January practiced to attack a US aircraft carrier.

Kim called for its Army to improve its battle readiness against American aircraft carrier battle groups. Kim believes that US carriers can be beaten by determining the vulnerability of the carriers, according to the report.

In a scenario, an island is being invaded. The target was another island that served as the carrier target. As a first step taken, Kim ordered its air force to attack.

The report said Kim told that North Korea's enemies are haughty because of their sophisticated military technology. But a country's military might must not evaluate by physical strength but as well as by its spirit and ideology.

Pyongyang's Arirang TV confirmed that the exercise was the second one that the first one held on January 23.
