CHINA HAS INCREASED EFFORT ON ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING POSTS

In a report by National Business Daily, a government official said that local and regional government in China promote the use of electric cars, even Beijing develops schemes regarding charging service fees for the e-cars batteries. Beijing is also conducting studies on standards used for collection.

Since the second half of 2014, six cities in China have already formulated policies for the charging fee collections. According to a report, these are the cities of Nanjing, Hebei, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Foshnan and Shanghai.

An official of National 863 Program, Wang Binggang disclosed that the purposes of collecting service fees are to regulate the development of a construction branch for recharging facilities and to interest social capital to participate in charging station construction venture.
