ELECTRO OPTICAL FIRE CONTROL SYSTEMS AND SENSORS CONFIRMED FOR JACINTO VESSELS

In a released Invitation To Bid for JCPV Phase 3A Acquisition project of the Philippine Navy, 2 brand new optical fire control systems and sensors are included in the project. This will boost the capability of the Jacinto Class Patrol Vessels of the Philippine Navy. Not only the electro-optical system are expected to be attached to the Jacintos but even 76mm and 25mm guns.

Under the paragraph 2 of INVITATION TO BID FOR JCPV PHASE 3A ACQUISITION PROJECT OF THE PHILIPPINE NAVY released on the DND website, some of the projects involved are restoration and sustainment of two 76mm guns for two JCPVs, three 25mm guns for three JCPVs and two brand new electro-optical fire control systems for two JCPVs.
