In a released INVITATION TO BID FOR FULL MOTION FLIGHT SIMULATOR ACQUISITION PROJECT on DND website, this project is no longer a 'hear say' but confirmed and already on formal process.
The said INVITATION TO BID is signed by USEC Natalio C. Ecarma lll, Chairman of DND Bids and Awards Committee. Projects confirmed are three units of Full Motion Flight Simulator and its Initial Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) package.
The allocated and approved budget for the project is declared Php246.430 million.
The purpose of the project is to minimize the risks related with emergency procedures trainings, reducing accidents, rendering flight hours and to cut aircraft operational and maintenance costs.
